ESSA Security Events:

Banks and Savings Banks Day 2026

On September 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the ESSA Bank and Savings Banks Day will take place as part of Security Essen. We are particularly pleased that not only German police authorities (LKA RP), but also the Swiss Federal Police (fedpol) will be giving presentations on attacks on ATMs.

Following the break-in in Gelsenkirchen, another important item is planned on the agenda: the German police as well as R+V Insurance will provide information on core drilling attacks on vault rooms and on recommended security measures for banks.

As in 2024, we will once again offer five short presentations of 5 minutes each by manufacturers exhibiting at Security Essen—this year with a focus on modern locking systems.

The full program can be viewed here.
